Scratches are understandable but chips and sticky bits? That's just messy eating.
Not when the cops don't give out a sticky enough datalog thingummy (well, not gummy ) abob. and 'one' has to encase it in clear transparent tape to allow potential thieves to see that my bicycle is registered with the glueless society of Great Britain etc..

I know not of which you speak.... have you been in the pub all afternoon again A?
No. Been at work actually. (At this juncture, I am going to look and find out exactly...)
'BikeRegister'. A big label to accompany a 'stencilled' code number on the bike - done with the kind co-operation of @AKA Bob of this parish.
My label refused to stick, so I had to secure it with sticky tape - subsequently deformed to gooey - hence my description.
However, it's not too late to own up to my Ti frame being liberally dosed with Johnsons Baby Oil...which might not have helped. BUT. Would be ok on the @ScotiaLass thread I guess. Titanium. What on earth does one do with 'Baby Oil' otherwise, if not to glisten the framework?

You keep your bike in a shed?!
Imagine how long it would last in the house with 2 kids .....
It is a security shed with extras and insurance , no garage as i lost that when we moved house to get out of a house that Roy Rogers might have known the builder so we had to down size to get out while the going was good.

Spent the afternoon installing shelving and a work top in the old shed to move stuff that might fall from the bike shed, bit blowy for an afternoon ride anyway
