Flew back into Gatport airwick at 2am after a month cycling in road cyclists paradise...Northern Cyprus...and some of Southern Cyprus too..at least the sun is out today..hear its been crap weather recently...done th eusual supermarket dash...fire up the car...de scale the entire flat and attack monster weeds on the driveway...total rubbish really when i should be riding over all those beautiful mountains again..think ive got those post holiday blooze...lucky i had one though i guess...this town seems so irrelevant and petty...and easy jets app is so easy....hmmm...

Back to Cyprus I reckon. It's hard to beat in terms of really great rides, weather etc. Been there three times now and it get s better each time I ride there.

I feel your pain BOAB, I used to work on southern Cyprus and always thought what a marvelous place it'd be to ride, up Troodos preferably.
I used to get the blues on return, and that was just work, let alone the pleasure of cycling there.

Riding up to Troodos and beyon to the top of Mount Olympus is nice, but not as nice as the Mountains in the Northern sector. Olympus is 2000m ish high but its nowhere near as picturesque at the top compared to say Kantara imho. I think you lot should all jack in your jobs and jump on a plane...just like that,,,not like that..like that
