This thread also reminds me of a cartoon that appeared in Private Eye - about mid 70s I guess, where Red Square is packed full of soldiers gathering for a parade and there is a street vendor in place, selling 'Hot Running Dogs'. (Maybe Honeysett - can't remember, but it was a nice piece of work.)

I'm off to Lagos on Sunday where I will have the first meeting at a very good customer's office following the death of the MD; he was killed when a heavy machine they were moving in the factory, slipped and crushed him against the wall. He was such a nice guy and he had kids back in Lebanon.

Bummer. On my way out of the factory tonight there's a framed photo of Eduardo with a black ribbon across it and a vase of red carnations ... I felt very moved and saddened. It's not the same on the factory floor without him. Maybe only the good die young.
