... in a limited way.

Last October I snapped my Patellar Tendon, severely limiting my ability to ride.

It is with a glad heart I can report that I can now flex my knee enough to ride a bike and have just been on a gentle half hour pootle round our estate using the low gears on my Nexus bike.

There is still some discomfort when I put too much pressure on it so I won't be getting back to the 1.5 hour hilly commute on the fixed wheel for a few weeks yet.

Should be good timing then...not much fun cycling in this weather anyway. A speedy recovery to you :sun:

Great news. Be patient with the recovery though.

Good luck and take it slowly. I was out for 10 months when I snapped my Achilles tendon 2 months longer than it should have taken because I kept on overdoing it and breaking down.
