Back on the Bike from tomorrow morning, first time i've done the commute since September but 4 months of no cycling has left me feeling massive!! Need to get on and loose the weight.

It's 30 Miles round trip with a few hefty climbs, the total ascent is 761ft, any tips for me to get through the first couple of days?

No tips but I got on my Langster today, which would be the first time since Oct. Boy! was I slow and a 15 mile ride has left me knackered for the rest of the day.

Keep at it

Morning all,

First ride back wasnt to bad, i have a massive hill to climb on my way back but the way in was ok. Took me just over an hour to do 15 miles. I was proper wrapped up with about 4 layers on top and 2 underneath.

Let's see how the rest of this week goes, fingers crossed for no snow!

Tomorrow (weather, temperatures and attitude permitting) will be my first foray back on the commute after nearly two months off, hopeful I haven't lost too much fitness, but I know I have defo put weight on.
