Hi folks

3 weeks post back op and I'm back on the bike. Well, sort of. The physio is nervous about me going on the road, so the old hybrid and turbo trainer are whirring in the back room, in front of the video. I'm up to the 6th stage of the 2006 Giro d'Italia, 10 mins at a time. Off to the mountains tomorrow.

I think another week before I hit the road properly.

Pip pip!

Well done! However, it easy and don't overdo it! Listen to your physio. A few extra days off now can mean a few months less off later!

Of course, I am the worst at listening to advice!

Well done.

I'm waiting till I get to see my physio on Weds before I see what they will let me do. So far had two weeks off the bike, although turbo is allowed (I've had my shoulder fixed - so not as serious as a back op).

Really want to get back on the road, even for a gentle flat'ish 10 miler.
