I think a bloke used to do drive it purposefully to piss off the council.
I don't think merlins are that big, the female is about the size of a kestrel and is slightly larger than the male. If you are talking about the RollsRoyce aero engine which powered the Spifire, Hurricane and Lancaster heavy bomber and was also the basic power plant for some of the british tanks in WW2 then that's differentgaz said:he still does drive it, the guy lives in Norbury and has a huge merlin on the side of his house.

Uncle Mort said:People are still driving them around - that's cool. I saw one in the Ulster transport museum. One of the curatorss there actually worked on the production line and said they never once saw John Delorean on the shop floor!

Magnum PI's ferrari?
General Lee from the Dukes of Hazard?
The 2CV from the For Your Eyes Only (I remember Citroen releasing a limited edition with fake bullet holes all over the car).
Kitt from Knight Rider
Herbie
All of these I have seen at one time or another - but not got pictures to prove it.
And, to be fair, none top the De Lorean.
Now, the Batmobile - that would be something.
