Why do we only ever have Christmas pudding once a year when we're too full to enjoy it?
I had some last week. I've still got a couple more...

Mr R bought a load at New Year about three or for years ago. We're still eating them. They're lovely sliced and fried in butter with a dollop of creme fraiche and a slur of brandy.
Is that a standard measure in your house?

Shops and supermarkets. I am not going to buy any of your Christmas stuff before December; even if you start displaying it in early September.

I might spent money on other stuff you could have filled that shelf space with though, providing it wasn't early Easter eggs. Just a thought.
Can't get too much mince pies and stollen. Nom.

Home made rum butter (none of this brandy cr*p) with xmas pud and a lashing of double cream..... mmmmm delicious!
Sprouts... just love them but why only once a year (oh yes, mummy pig complaining of the smell the morning after...)
And yes, bloody xmas decorations and lights in November (or earlier) as well as the blatant commercialisation...
