Just reminded me one of these twats didn't even bother giving way when he should have tonight right in front of me near Southwark Bridge.They have a vast majority of twats also.I'd forgotten about this with the two dodgy overtakes by motorists twats who couldn't be patient on my return late commute.
How many injured by motorcycling twats then? No doubt riding at 70mph when they shouldn't be,seen a rise in these idiots too.
That big 20 painted sign in the road @ Southwark Bridge isn't a score you must beat.

The penny is finally dropping - people are born as dilberts, and they're that way long before they learn to ride a bike, drive a car. Hell, you even get peckers on public transport.
The way to make the roads a nice place is to simply behave yourself and observer the rules, no matter what means of transport you're using. It ain't difficult.
The problem will never be solved by machine gunning all cyclists, or executing all motorists at dawn. Deprive the self appointed arbiters of road safety something to complain about then they'll quickly go away.

Cycling and cyclists have become emotive issues. Someone should make a video clip of the hundreds of cyclists making their way across Waterloo Bridge each hour during peak period. 99% of the time you will see poetry in motion as cyclists and motorist work in tandem and in fluid manner to facilitate traffic flow for the good of all. You will be see buses giving ample space, motorist slowing when they have to etc. You will also see all sorts of bikes - racers, fixies, Dutch, hybrids etc ridden by fast, slow and average riders of all ages, hue and colour. It should clear any doubts about cycling being an integral part of our transport world.
The odd rants are no different to the ones that you see between 2 motorists. And there will be accidents. And sadly Cycling World does have its share of hoons and louts.

A bit sad that the moderate voice on the forum considers cyclists a "minor annoyance".
Is being annoyed with other road users to any degree somehow acceptable? How can they have an attitude where they share the public road with other but are somehow annoyed that they do not have the road to themselves.
They must be constantly in a state of rage!
Perhaps they will also ban people in lifts who get out at a different floor.

to be fair everone else on the road is a "minor annoyance" to a degree; be they other cyclists, cars, pedestrians, cows, dogs etc. The thing is to take a live and let / give and take approach so everyone gets where they're going with minimum stress and risk to all.
Your beef with the motorcylists seeing cyclists as (merely?) a "minor annoyance" is a little harsh give we get many on here bitching about
"bloody pedestrians" never mind dogs "dangerously out of control" (ie wandering about on a path)
Don't forget the "close passes" caught on camera which turn out to be nothing of the sort. It's all about perception and some folk are just easily annoyed.

Although like cyclists, the majority of motorcyclist adhere to the rules of the road, I do seem to encounter more than my fair share of biker numpties like the one in the attached picture. Guess where they shouldn't be!. Also fed up of the filtering and barging into the ASL.

Other road users are not and should not be an "annoyance". Annoyance is akin to irritation, exasperation, vexation, indignation, anger, crossness. Why should another road user generate such reaction (minor or otherwise)?
If in using road you come across someone else lawfully and properly using the road then there really is something the matter if that annoys you.
Fair enough if the user is not playing by the rules and being out of control or dangerous but really it should not be acceptable that every car that a cyclist holds up for a second or two is driven to anger by such encounter.
