What happens if you don't have bananas of the correct size to fit the cage?
Can't see many of those selling but well done to the entrepreneur who gave it a shot.

Would:
Commission Regulation (EC) No. 2257/94 of 16 September 1994 laying down quality standards for bananas, also known informally as "bendy banana law" apply?

And is is for class 1 or class 2 bananas?
Class 1 bananas can have "slight defects of shape" and Class 2 bananas full-on "defects of shape".

You could eat an inner tube but you wouldn't get any carbs out of it
I reckon the bananas would bounce out of that cage on the first bit of rough road surface, in order to stop them bouncing out the cage would have to grip the fruit tight which would result in bruised / squashed bananas.

At last! The truth that dare not speak its name on a cycling forum. Bananas are ****ing vile! Sticky, slimy, sickly tubes of gack. I'd rather eat an inner tube.

The pedant in me wants to say that they are not even fruit, but I'm not sure my inner pedant is correct.
