Anathema - started as death metal/doom metal, morphed into this wonderful prog band
The Gathering - started as Goth metal, no idea how to define them when they finished.
The Blue Horses - folk rock, never quite made it but toured forever!

Another bunch of friends, this lot are called 'The Ferocious Ladoos' Bops on vocals, Faisal on bass and Huq on acoustic guitar.

Lovely weird, symbolic videos too ( invariably featuring incredibly attractive people ) - The Sahotas here, with Dil Vich Tu Vasdi - great tune! Apna Sangeet and tracks from 'Jam to the Bangra' are rockin' too!

Can't sod around with this all night, but another couple of brothers, who are pretty busy on the 'circuit' (Clapham a speciality) are Yigit and Dogan Citik. Turkish brothers who really pump out the volume and sweat for their love of music. They are aiming to be this year's 'undiscovered' band on MTV or something like that...and they are extremely nice gents.
