Saw them play at Bermondsey festival in Southwark Park 2014. 1000+ people having a proper bounce in the afternoon! Magic day....

Are they objectively "good" or just as good as they once were? I saw them back-in-the-day ("Don't You Want Me?" day), and they were kinda terrible. Heaven 17 at the same time were good, and again in 2000

I'm not sure anyone can say anything is objectively good. What I can say is that Oakey's voice is still in good shape, they put on a good show re playing their best songs and the backing band is well chosen. The fact their second to last song was "Being Boiled" (from well before the Don't You Want Me era) perhaps shows they're still in touch with their roots

Saw Heaven 17 a few years ago and they were pretty decent too although I would say HL's show was better

I didn't get to see Ride on their tour last year, but it looks like they still put on a good gig

I've seen dEUS three or four times over the last 20 years and they've been just as great every time. If you haven't ever heard (of) them, well, you've missed out.

Paul Rodgers most definitely still has it, I have seen him four times over the years and he has never disappointed. Sadly I am to young to have seen him playing with Kossoff in Free. My all time favourite band.

This is Paul with Joe Bonamassa who is a self confessed fan of Kossoff playing together in 2012 and the second West Palm Beach 2016.

Paul almost looks in better shape these days than he did in 1970,

[QUOTE 4539892, member: 259"]The last band I saw was the Divine Comedy and they were well worth the ticket. It's a great pity they got saddled with the 'whimsical' bit and not many people caught on to the "feckin brilliant" bit.

If the Kinks had done National Express it would be in the Rolling Stone Top 100 Ever listings.

I saw them at Glastonbury many years ago: their cover of Seven Nation Army was unexpected!
