Sadly, Sting's reinvention of himself has put me off ever wanting to see him or any band with him in it.

I think that bands should never reform. What is the point, other than to rake in the cash? If the musicians have something new to offer, offer that. If they don't ... don't!

Just been watching 'This Town Ain't Big Enough' and it struck me that Ron Mael is almost impassive enough to be in Kraftwerk. He'd fit right in.

I don't know what she adds to a boiler suit, but she can sing wonderfully, and that bloke can play guitar too. They never really relied on spandex, power chords, sex or great beauty to sell their stuff. Any band that reforms with one of those original USPs is going to be a horrible embarrassment. The Rolling Stones are an obvious exception......they became toe-curling after Beggars Banquet, and never quite got the message....Poor old dears

As you say I am entitled to my opinion, in the same way that you are also allowed your own opinion, I, as you would imagine disagree with yours but respect your right to have it, however you have no right to tell me to keep mine to myself just because it is different to yours. I rate The Smith's as one of the most talentless groups of the decade & cannot think of a half decent track. We clearly have to agree to dis-agree on this fact.
