It happens me sometimes. Normally I just select a different sever in a different country.
If it persists highlight it to the moderators who can boss it on to the boss.

Only banned on my desktop - when I tried to load the site I got an error message saying the IP was banned. However, following @HobbesOnTour advice, I've switched countries.

Who knew the Spanish were persona non grata on Cycle Chat?

VPNs are unsurprisingly often used by scammers / spammers and forum software allows specific IPs to be banned if they're being used for a lot of problematic traffic, Sounds like this is just a case of sharing an IP with a scumbag or two

As @wafter suggests it has little to do with location of server and more to do with scamming activity.
I've been posting from Spain (reality & virtual) for a while......

The problem here can be a bit more pronounced after an update, or at least in my experience

Aye, it's weird. Two devices using a VPN set to Spain. One worked, one didn't.

Sadly perhaps for others, I've fixed it

I thought the bad ol' days were in the past
