Too late for the OP, but this is worth watching (2 weeks left) for anyone who is off to Barcelona:

It is truly a spectacular city, with very happy memories for me, and comes a close 2nd to NYC in my fave city list. I also love the 'independent' attitude of the Catalans. I just hope the arguments with Spanish govt don't turn any more serious.

The Catalans are the Iberian equivalent of professional Yorkshiremen and genuine PITA'S.
