Basil panniers - any good?

I'm going to need to replace the panniers I use for shopping and day trips. These are advertised with Sustrans' latest email flyer.

Anyone met them? If so are they any good?

Not that particular model, but I have some of their girly pattterned ones and have no complaints. Sturdy, well thought out kit.

I haven't used them but I saw a waterproof one in T K Max for £9. Had it been a pair, I would have bought them.

David i bought some of These from Wiggle at £35.99 and they are very good for the money

I've added them to the collection of links, and will decide when I get the tax rebate I'm due (so could be several months!)

Those from Wiggle are cheaper than they were so hae replaced that link as well - thanks MF.

No great hurry, my super cheap SJS/ebay ones are still going at the moment and should stay OK for a while.
