It looks like the type where they have two holes, do you not just put the valve in the appropriate hole?

It just throws air everywhere, it doesn't seem to lock down. There is a lever which you move when it is on, to tighten the seal. It works fine on the other valve type, so I know how to use it for that. However, it doesn't appear to want to work the same when I try it on the Schrader valve.

I used to have a pump like that, in days of old my pumps used to "lock on" to the valve by flicking the lever down. These days things seem to have been reversed, the valve lever must be in the up position to allow air flow. My new track pump is the same. Just an idea and may be completely wrong :whistle:
