It seems that when things are a little difficult for the BBC, Jeremy Clarkson has succeeded in maintaining the pressure on the BBC with comments he made about truck drivers and prostitutes.

I wonder if he will have his wings clipped. Personally, I did not like the gratuitous damage to the trucks. To me, it was just silly not funny. I had turned it off before the comments were made, but it seems to re-lighted the little BBC problem over standards.

personally, i think its really funny. not at all in the league of the Wossi and Brand saga.

i mean... he has got a point.... there have been a few cases of lorry drivers murdering prostitutes. if they are not careful, they will get too pc and before you know it, no one will be cracking jokes anymore

That's pathetic that there's being complaints over that. Can a person not make any single joke like that anymore? On a lighter note i enjoyed watching them destroy the trucks, highly entertaining.

Oh come on: lighten up - it was a laugh and NO WAY simliar to self-gratification artist and snappy (roos n brand).

Clarkson is a laugh though he is sincere.

If I was famous i'd be in trouble all the time...some of the rants I have

I'd love to see you on the front pages, people quitting because of your rants ... we'd have no tv. And I still stand that Woss And Brand weren't altogether too bad, but i wont open that can of worms again!

Humour is a very personal thing. It did not do it for me.

But I actually quite like Ross and Brand, although I do think that they went overboard on the evening in question.

TBH it's an old gag. I'm sure frankie Boyle cracked it on MTW a few years ago. No complaints there though. Maybe because he's funny!
