I prefer the old version, the new version is slow and badly laid out.I don't like it on my phone, tablet or pc. I told them so in the feedback. I suppose I'll slowy get used to it though.
It has gawn tabloid.
Yep, it has been through the process that we sciency types call 'crapification'. I just found they now have 'explainers' as well as reporters???. Oh well, time to shift my homepage again...It has gawn tabloid.

I gave up on TV news a couple of decades ago when talking heads who appeared to know even less than I do about whatever the news subject of the moment is appeared along with the spin doctors who appeared to have a diametric vision of what was happening in real life. The BBC internet service was generally the best place to get whatever facts are available across a wide range of subjects - Having too much time on my hands I have frequently ventured into other news spaces and I suspect unfortunately even in its present form the BBC internet news is still probably the best place to start off with.Yes, but where to?
