Evolution at work? Begs the question why haven't tails been removed by evolution? Have sheep just recently evolved away from climbing trees?

don't know about sheep, but there is a breed of goat that climbs trees. As for sheep tails, i daresay the number of sheep who die because of fly strike is very small, therefore there wouldn't be any need for evolution to change them

There are probably hundreds of reasons. I have no idea why in fact, just as no one else does either probably.

Nature also has it there for them to spread what comes out the rear.

Ah the nutcrackers.
You also have the ring which has to be placed in warm water, to soften it, before rolling it up a small cone an over the testicles. Squeeze's the blood vessels causing them to close up.
Leaves them with a bit of an odd walk for a while before they drop off.

Couple of months. Although they could be rejected at birth by the mother.

We are getting much softer regarding eating meat and this is usually scoffed at by the tough country folk who see livestock as a commodity.

They then seem to want it both ways and all over the place (well at the farm up the road) they seem to want it both ways by now charging you to see "all your farmyard favourites"
