It's my own peculiar bias against people who believe and spout that particular form of belief.

There's me thinking that Christians were meant to be the close minded judgemental ones.

Whilst I wouldn't agree with the beliefs of tv personalities like Frank Skinner, Stephen Fry, Nadia Hussein and many others on the box, it wouldn't stop me watching a show that they were a part of.

I watched a little bit of the Bear/Joshua programme the other night, some interesting little snippets but like unlike Joshua, my fear of heights wouldn't have allowed me anywhere near the ledge he absailed down! Fair play to him.

His names Edward.

I bet it's really Walter. He just pretends it's Edward 'but call me Bear'.

And he calls himself Lil
But everyone knew him as Nancy.

When he first burst to fame, I assumed he'd got the nickname cos he was a Rupert. I was quite disappointed to learn the actual reason.

I met that Andy McNab* on a train once. He seemed a decent chap and we had a nice chat

* - I think it was him, but obviously he didn't admit it and it was difficult to tell without his face being pixelated.

Bush Tucker Man was great, his tales of survival in Arnhem Land with the indigenous people were great, but he sold out to Fosters.

And to Toyota too.............
(after a few years with LRA; Land Rover Australia)

I still have one of these, but not the Discovery.................

That's ok in my opinion. Looks like all his TV was done for the ABC, and though modelled on the BBC they don't pay like the BBC**. So let him make a few bucks. The ad is pretty well made and the message "cold lager is great when you are hot and thirsty" does not seem offensive.

**of course, as the BBC were buying the show, that probably would have increased his salary more than could be justified on 8 cents/day.

That is just the self-confidence instilled in him as a member of Special Forces.
Or the fact he is the off spring of a knighted Conservative MP and was eductated at Eton.
He is just a product of PR, he was only in the army for 3 years and his real name is Edward.
