I had a beard for a short while.
doc%20pierce.jpg

It was only for stage work.
We, the men, were all told to grow full beards for the parts.
I told the director I would have a goatee.
It was full beard or no part.
I did my best but a goatee is all I can manage, I still got the part though.

Edit: For those goatee detractors, it's an ethnic thing for me, no chest or back hair either but Arch will confirm my level of manhood.;)

I occasionally grow a 'round the mouth' tache and beard, but hair just doesn't grow very much on my cheeks*, so a full beard is not gonna happen.

I've had a full beard since Xmas 1976. My electric razor packed in and I've never shaved since. I sometimes let it grow long, other times trim it to 6mm. My wife, who has never seen me clean shaven has categorically forbidden me to shave it off. Not that I ever would.
Am wondering whether I should grow a beard. Reason being that Billy’s grown one and I think it looks rugged, thoughtful and grown up. However, it’ll have grey in it (just the one shade).

What are your thoughts on beards?
No, don't.

I'm scared of bearded men.

strange how many guys seem to allow their woman to stop them growing a beard...I grew one in a competition/beard growing race with a mate of mine in portland once...i ended up looking like robinson crusoe and he looked more like one of those chinese goatee types. ..in both cases the women involved were anti and this was our way of sticking two fingers at them..women of the world let your men be men and grow a beard.....like so many women do.

That would be fine by me, as long as you've given up wanting to be snogged. Not the beard so much, but moustaches get right up my nose, literally...

Mr_H is banned from beard growing due to my phobia. I saw a photo of him with a beard he grew before we met - it made me shudder. Tis only fair, if he was scared of beards I wouldn't mind not growing one.

Mine's already withdrawn sex. She will crack before I do.
