riding across Idaho I met Larry...Larry had ridden the southern tier and was returning across on the transam...he had a long beard...I asked him why he was riding so far ( his plan was to ride back on the northern tier so x3 crossings in one year)...he just smiled and said 'so I can grow my beard in peace'.
