Broke my personal distance record. It wasn't the most enjoyable ride though as it was freezing cold and it rained unexpectedly despite not being forecast to do so. Ended up getting the train home.

Did you go with the wind or against? Good achievement anyway, have a cup of tea, some cake and a hot bath.

Edit: there's nothing wrong with train-assisted rides, we do them in the Dales in summer. You can ride with the wind then train back or vise-versa.

I was using Google Maps for navigation. My intended destination was Jodrell Bank but I continued cycling to Macclesfield.
Thinking of cycling to Blackpool next weekend but not if the weather is poor.

You can't mix decimal counting and imperial units. The OP has cycled a nice round sixteen leagues.
