It's been going on for years - one of those nudge-nudge-wink-wink kind of things.

I heard a story of a local IT engineer who regularly poked around on customers' PCs until one day he came across some rather revealing pictures of the customer and his wife; both in their late 50's and both into some rather unusual bedroom practices. He lost interest for a good while after that encounter!! :smile:

I suppose the key is to make sure you don't leave anything too personal on your PC, and instead store it on an external drive or media.

Was that the customer & the customer's wife, or the customer & the IT engineers wife :biggrin:

How can the TSI say it was "shocked" by the discovery that this kind of thing was going on? Really? Where have they been living? Can anyone who's thought of sending a computer for repair really not have wondered about whether their data would be safe, whether the fault would really be repaired, or whether when they got the bill the repair shop had really done what they claimed?
