A particularity about my taste buds was that it would sometimes have an aftertaste of basil for me. But for no one else apparently.
That used to be sold at one of the discounters (probably LiDL) years ago in bottles. It was one of the first ''craft'' beers that I could afford back then and it always went down well. A particularity about my taste buds was that it would sometimes have an aftertaste of basil for me. But for no one else apparently.
A couple of new ones last night.
The Thornbridge tastes very much like a Thornbridge.
The Love Lane was another Quality Save bargain. I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but that's the only place I've ever seen their stuff which makes me wonder if it's really their own brand under a pretend name. Really nice, and a bargain at £1.69.

My local did a Liverpool-themed tap-takeover a while back and Love Lane were one of the brewers featured. They're genuine and actually pretty good but I've not seen or heard from them since.
