Well say that then in your post, we are not mind readers
I take it you haven't seen Silly Cyclists? Before we slag other road users off we should really put our own house in order.
That's because we haven't changed, they were a bunch of nobbers then and they still are today (they certainly aren't representative of 'we', even a royal 'we'I am surprised nobody said that the film was shot in 2006 and we have all changed how we ride since then. Unfortunately it is not the case. I am glad the post raised a few talking points though.
In a way Steve, thats why i don't, or won't get wound up any more, because the all the bad stuff you see or hear comes from the minority, be they drivers or cyclists. The reason I posted it is that I often see posts on here where cyclists are berrating car drivers for driving too close, using phones while driving etc, etc, etc. We even appear to have an army of cyclists who have gone out and bought helmet cams to catch these villanous drivers in the act of misbehaving. It does get mind numbingly boring, because no matter how much we winge and moan about drivers things are not going to change. The same is with the cyclists who appear to think that the rules of the road were never meant for them.
I ride a bike, a motorbike and a car and I have seen total idiots on each of them. It is just the way it is and we need to accept that.

Hardly surprising that you hear more about idiot car drivers than idiot cyclists, because it's generally the former who are potentially going to land us in casualty. Idiots on bikes certainly do exist, but as a cyclist, I can generally avoid getting stitched up by them simply by virtue of being faster than them (and being very careful when turning left) - it's not nearly as simple to escape the motorized varietyThe reason I posted it is that I often see posts on here where cyclists are berrating car drivers for driving too close, using phones while driving etc, etc, etc.
With that attitude of course nothing will change. The reason I posted it is that I often see posts on here where cyclists are berrating car drivers for driving too close, using phones while driving etc, etc, etc. We even appear to have an army of cyclists who have gone out and bought helmet cams to catch these villanous drivers in the act of misbehaving. Do you really think this (pointlessly posted) vid is a typical representation??
So all London cyclists are bad and you have complete sympathy with all of London's drivers, and you want to either kill or injure someone?peanuts. If that's the way cyclists behave in London I'm in complete sympathy with the city's car drivers and would, if I lived there, be ashamed to admit I rode a bike. In fact I would be very tempted to run into somebody who rode at me in such an aggressive way.
No, I just like to see a bit of contoversy and lively debate. The Australian forum that I occasionally visit won't allow any heated debate or discussion of anything too controversial and will often put a stop to pretty tame debates. Australian's are not generally the easy going, laid back people that they portray themselves to be.So all London cyclists are bad and you have complete sympathy with all of London's drivers, and you want to either kill or injure someone?![]()
