Natural gaps don't exist in most of the queues I filter unless the queue is moving, in which case I'm not going to be filtering through it. The cars leave about a meter between them and the car in front, so I do just make my own gap.

Oh no! :sad: Touching any part of a car, even softly, is enough to set some motorists off and make them lose their tempers and do something stupid.

As for the original filtering question: I prefer to be in front if possible, rather than behind a long line of cars spewing out carcinogens.
