It is brilliant, I love the bit where he eats until he reaches just the correct weight and then stops. The music is brilliant too!

When it was first released over here, it was my choice of birthday night out. It's a magnificent film. Everything wonderfully observed. The dog is the star, though. The best observed dog in animation.

It was a good night last night, two of my favourite films on one channel, "Spirited Away" and "Belleville Rendez-vous" I have them both on DVD, 'natch!
