I don't think any band has ever come out of Colne so as I'm from Liverpool I'm going to stick with the obvious and say Our Kid.

I'm originally from Gdansk, Poland - the mainstream music scene is not very lively there, however there's plenty of good underground bands (mostly metal - I guess us Poles and metal just go well together). There was one band called Illusion, which was very good, but they don't exist anymore.
