Prawn cocktail

Co-op sea salt and Chardonnay vinegar.
IYKYK.

Our local Co-op sells those. Very more-ish but I suspect that's because of the extremely high levels of salt/msg.

I give my vote to Marmite, but if they're not available the Walkers Worcester Sauce come a close second.

I still miss those Hedgehog crisps - taste just like the real thing.

And just about any crisp makes a good sandwich filling.

Wait till you try the Seabrook Worcester Sauce. Very spicy.

Cheese & onion, plain salted or salt & pepper.

Though I will eat most flavours except for the stupid hot spicy stuff. I eat crisps for pleasure, not for pain.

But really not a fan of salt & vinegar and pickled onion. Not because I don't like the flavour, but because they're just way over seasoned. Same applies to some varieties of Worcestershire sauce crisps - French Fries or ordinary Walkers are fine, Seabrooks shrivel your mouth dry after just a couple of bites. Not pleasant at all.

Oh yeah, and Tesco's "Finest" roast beef & horseradish. Don't eat them unless you are in a dire need of exploding your sinuses.

I regularly watch the YouTube channel of " Fallow " a London restaurant that explains how they prepare a range of dishes and how you can achieve a similar outcome at home. In one video they were preparing a Tortilla, explaining what variety of potato they use and why, etc. At one stage he mentioned that a " cheat " you could do at home was to use good quality crisps instead of the convoluted method of preparing the potatoes that the restaurant used.

Inspired by the Foods you can't skimp thread, what are the best crisp flavours out there?

For me it will always be hard to beat the 90 Brannigans' - Roast Beef and Mustard. I've seen there's a modern version but it doesn't compare.

In modern ones I do have a soft spot for a good Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper

I have memories of buying Brannigans, along with a bottle of Indigo Juice boost that came in a dark blue bottle.
