On newer bikes, Singular head badges are cool.

St. Étienne was the capital of the French bicycle industry. The wheel manufacturer Mavic is based in the city and manufacturers Motobecane and Vitus are also based here. The city often hosts a stage of the TDF. Titanic were also based there but I couldn't find out how the company was related to the liner.

How pathetic is that?
But it's metal & nice & counts for a lot over decals.I've just got a new Genesis bike & love it having a real head badge rather than a transfer, something like

An extremely well known journalist whom I knew rather well when she was a lot younger than she is today had a party trick like that. It involved sambucca, a zippo and bare tits, and was very impressive in a dark wine bar after everyone had had waaaaay to manyI had a lighter like that. One boob to ignite lighter, flame came out the other one. Ok, I was young..... Sheesh!![]()
