Best place online to buy a bike?

No LBS worthwhile with exchange rate (In Switz.). Where's the best place to look online?? Wanting a decent Women's spec. under £1000. Full sus.

I would say ebay; also Evans (in UK) usually have good deals for last year models.

If you are in Switzerland, then you may want to look at flying over, not Air France* but budget airline to pick up bike as it may work out cheaper - you are not in EU so would you pay import duty/tax?

* probably a very safe bet as statistically it is unlikely for same airline to have 2 crashes in a row?

If you're buying from Evans then just do a quick google check to see if anywhere is slghtly cheaper for the same bike. They do a price match system which meant I got my bike £100 cheaper, pretty good when u consider it only cost £350.

I say have a look at Paul's Cycles - women's mountain bikes.

eg 2008 Giant Cypher was £1500 now £1027

evans won't ship all brands of bikes to all other european locations as the bike manufacturers have other importers there. Cartel? Free Trade? hahahaha

try Edinburgh Bicycle CoOperative as well
