Best ride home ever today

Some days its just works, traffic, legs feel great, you feel great etc, and today was one of those days for me.

17 miles home, and was home in 55 minutes.

Well chuffed.

I have been communting for around 6 weeks now, notched up over 700 miles and today was a great ride home !

So in 6 weeks, I have gone from my first ride of taking 1 hr 20 minutes down to under an hour. Brilliant, feel great, so much less stressed, loosing weight, saving money, and the car is having a nice rest too !

I just hope to keep going when the weather goes down hill towards winter !

Getting into the swing of things, nice to hear people are doing well! gives me something to aim for.. Just been totting up my figures and after 8 days riding averages are 7.7 miles in 41mins 55secs. It's as quick for me to ride home as it is to drive home in the afternoons, shame I can half the ride time in the mornings when there is no traffic in the car!

I start to get jittery about 4.30, knowing I have to beat all the commuters up the first hill !!
