What is the best Spam Blocker?

I was using Spam Inspector 4 but it has stopped working which is a pain.

Don't know why but I think there is something wrong with Outlook Express.

I tried Spam Pal but haven't managed to set it up yet.

Any ideas?

It doesn't have to be a free antispam program.

Thanks will do.At the moment im now using McAfee Antispam which gets at the spam before it hits my inbox....seems ok so far as I have put a new filter up [SPAM?] in the header seems to wipe quite a bit out.

I was going to suggest SpamAssassin, but I am not sure that it is easy to use on Windows, it is more for advanced OS's...

I've heard of that but I think there is a problem with my outlook express as pefectly good programmes that worked before just dont work now.I have found MCAfee AntiSpam and it does a reasonable job.....just as I typed this there was a pistol shot,I think it's killed some more spam.

The update is,after having trouble with my computer and losing an operating system,Outlook Expres ET all and finding it hard to back up I have gone back to Thunderbird Portable which does a great job and has it's own spam blocker and filters.

With the filter [SPAM?] in the header line this eliminates 99% of Spam.

No good now as im using Thunderbird with it's filters and spam blocker thingy,though if I need it in the future will use Mailwasher. if needed.

Most of my spam is filtered out.

What ISP do you use? Most of the paid-for ones use good spamblockers behind the scenes.

I have a £6.99 a month broadband account with Plusnet and I get absolutely no spam at all. Kaspersky at about £25 a year takes care of worms, viruses and everything else.

Virgin Media ex NTHell.

They put the prefix [SPAM?] in the subject line so 99% of spam doesn't get through my filter.
