Northern Exposure.........loved that show and I found a video of series one in a junk shop recently!

The BBC Merlin series is pretty excellent, series 4 is on its way!

Loved Cheers

but more recently Green Wing - completely off the wall way of doing comedy.

Father Ted, definitely.

Galactica? Apart from the last series or so, yeah.

24? The first couple had something, once it degenerated into the cliffhanger a minute pace of later series it became self-parodic and so silly it was hard to suspend disbelief.

Being Human I love - dark, clever and funny enough to justify the existence of BBC Three. Just.

The Wire and The Sopranos, again, agreed 100%.

Lee and Herring's "Fist of Fun" anyone? I loved that show.

+1 fore Being Human. Northern Exposure was one of my recent favourites. Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister are scary classics - still true in many respects. Father Ted is without equal, IMHO.

As a left-field suggestion, I was always a big fan of (All Quiet on the) Preston Front.
