Just thinking about this. The new 105 has 11 gears and is already for sale. There maybe opportunities to get run-out 10 gear models reduced.

I did something similar with Tiagra. I had 9 speed Tiagra and one of the German companies (Rose I think) dumped all their 9 speed stuff at much reduced prices. I got a cassette, chains and ac rear mech at bargain prices. Worth keeping an eye out!

and here iam again and i think ive made my choice to be honest. after i come from holiday it's time for hard saving and im getting ultegra 6800 11speed set. ive calculated and even for money just of this set+money from selling my bike i would never reach a bike with such set on it so im rather like buying this set and getting it on my carrera which i honestly dont want to split apart, it just looks too good

Check to see if you need to replace your rear wheel. Some wheels can't accept the 11 speed cassette without changing the freehub.

I doubt the stock wheels on the carrera will take 11 speed .
