Forecast says it could be only 5C here tomorrow morning so I think I'll go and get a pair of gloves looked out for my commute. Still warm enough for shorts though;)

Yep, gonna stick a pair of cold weather gloves in my rucksack for tomorrow morning, just in case.

Today was a cracking morning to cycle in to work and the run back home this evening wasn't half bad either.

Glad I'd read this thread yesterday and dug out my light, long-fingered gloves. It was pretty nippy here this morning, and whilst exposed arms & legs weren't an issue once I'd done a mile and warmed up I could still feel the cold through the gloves.

Dread to think how blue my fingers would have been in my mitts, especially as the temperature dropped between Leith and the Gyle quite dramatically.

Beautiful morning for cycling though - crisp, clear and no wind.

Yer all a bunch of big Jessies!

I chanced it with my fingerless gloves and was fine, but any colder and it will require the switch. It was a beautiful morning for cycle commuting though! xx(;)

I'm sure it had warmed up by the time the sun was out, but some of us set off at 6.00am in the dark....

Still pretty mild down this end, have been putting the arm and leg warmers on in the morning (but I always start early)

Someone was complaining in the canteen earlier that it was "f*cking freezing". It must've been about 15 outside.

It was cool but not too bad on my run in through Glasgow this morning. It does help that I do not get off the train until 8.10am, so the chill was off the air. Hopefully, on my longer run home tonight it will not be cold, as I only have track mitts with me.

I was on the road at 5.30 this morning and it was damn chilly. I was regretting having shorts on for the 1st couple of miles:sad:

Ohh I feel for you early start lot...I used to be a 6.30 start rider many moons ago - makes lights all that more important. I'm a 7.30am start, and about 5.30pm finish rider, so it's not too bad. When the clocks go back, is when the big lights come out permanently for me.
