 So, he wins again!
Why did Schummacer not attack earlier?
Why did the Dutch just follow when Dekker was still strong?
Why does Millar always follow. Is he terrified of gallant faillure?
Was Pat McQuaid "Sick as the proverbial Parrot?"
Will the UCI ban Bettini in a fit of pique?
Confused? You will be! The answer to these and other questions -- over to you.

Why wasn't the result put in the topic, rather than the header, along with a spoiler warning?

Well in Bettini.

Why did Evans bother going off in the break?

On another note, I only managed to catch the BBC's highlighted coverage on BBC2. Good God they know how to make things sound dull. It sounded like the commentary team were based in a library, one or two beats away from flatlining.

Oh I do have one answer for you Girofan - re why Millar always follows. It's because he's not good enough to break away and stay away in a top class field. See tdf2007, stage 1 for example. Also he said as much himself in his post-match interview yesterday.

thing is if Millar went along to the Worlds why bother not chasing down the title if you know your not good enough, wasn't he leader of the Brit team?
