A little bumpy at the start - otherwise it's pan flat.

I rode it in 2012 with several other CC members - arriving at just after 2.30am into Blackpool to find they'd not set up yet .

After a burger in McDonalds several of us then rode back to Manchester. It was a good night.

If you start typing @DCLane and click on the pop-up. He'll get an alert. More likely to respond that way

There were marshals on every junction on the way out, which was great. Just be careful of riders all over the road - we started around 15 minutes after the start and the first few miles were chaos until we'd passed people.

The way back was different: in 2012 I hadn't a GPS so relied on the others with me / remembering turns once past all the riders still 'outgoing'!
