Whilst sat in my car in traffic this lunchtime, I looked in the rear view mirror and saw a long line of cyclists using the footpath to get ahead of the traffic Que I was sat in. Upon pulling alongside me it was very obvious that this was an organised ride, but was like a team sponsored by Bianchi, as almost all the bikes were the same pale green livery, and even a couple of vintage Bianchi rides, and almost all the cyclists were wearing Bianchi colors, but these cyclists who were of both sexes, were not pro's, as some of them were the same age and shape as me.

So were these some very upwardly mobile Cheshire cyclists, or was it a sponsored event of some description. I was however very impressed with the bikes.

@Bianchi Owners Club UK I am looking to sort out my garage and stick all my cycling stuff in good order. Cannot for the life of me find any Bianchi wall signs or similar, albeit new or otherwise anywhere. Any ideas?

Wall signs are difficult to find. I bought one last year from a guy on our Facebook page at Bianchi Owners Club UK. Did you say you weren't on facebook? Global Bikes in Crewe have just had a wall sign made of the Bianchi Crest and i understand it was very expensive to make. Best bet is eBay. i'm launching a proper owners club website soon. We will have a sales and wants section on there eventually. Might be worth waiting a couple of months and posting a wants ad on there. Hope this helps.

I would agree, but it was only a few feet, before it turned into proper green cycle lane footpath, ending at our destination in Rainbow Street. I'm also glad the van didn't follow.
