Decathlon do two - one about £30 that is portable, and a very sturdy one at £50 ish. I have both.

Go for the £50 one.

+1 for the Lidl stand. When it comes up it's only £30. There are a couple of folks selling them on Ebay for around £50 like this and this. I got one and use it most weeks.

Yes, as the clamp will be multi-directional. You can clamp the bike by the seat post.

£39.99 delivered is quite a good price. I believe that this is the newer version with a quick release clamp. Not sure that a qr clamp really will make much difference though as I have 2 different bikes.

I went for the one on ebay, orderd it on Sunday and got an email this morning to say that it will be delivered between 15:10 and 16:10 today will let you all know how I get on.

I have the Edinburgh Revolution stand and really like it, although it's my first so can't compare with others. Sturdy, light, easy to set up and only £50

Cheers ordered it last night, shame I missed the Lidl offer for a tenner less but do not want to wait until they next have them in.
