Eat it all in 20 mins with no drink to wash it down with and you get it free.
It's . . .
10 eggs,
10 bacon,
10 sausage,
10 toast,
5 black puddings,
tomatoes,
beans and
mushrooms

The breakfast packs in 5,000 calories — nearly twice the recommended daily intake for an average man..
A spokesman for the British Heart Foundation said:
“Eating this amount in one sitting is not a good idea.”.

Has anyone from this site tried one ? Imagine getting back on your bike after that !!!

On a cycle tour once I stopped at a roadside cafe and had the 'Truckers Big Breakfast'

3 eggs, 3 sausage, 3 bacon, black pudding, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried slice, bread and butter and a mug of tea.

I wolfed it down ok but after riding a mile up the road I stopped for a nap in a field:biggrin:

Sounds like a waste of time. A breakfast like that needs to be savoured, with a pot of tea. Trying to down it in 20 mins without tea is just mindless gluttony.

Typical bloody British concept of 'good food' - huge portions, of presumably fairly crap ingredients.

Mind you, I worked my way through this on Sunday...

Tescos does a good breakfast....you could create Mario's breakfast at 29p per item. I do have one from time to time but a double sausage and egg McMuffin takes some beating.

I'd not manage that with a drink and plenty of time, let alone in 20 mins! I struggle with a normal fry up.

Whilst on tour in Germany my camp commandant recommended the food at this restaurant but warned me not to attempt the XXL portions.

The waitress seemed impressed when I managed to finish off a M portion of Chili con Carne:biggrin:

I don't like to see food wasted, but noticed they had ample supplies of tinfoil wrap to take home what you could not eat, so there was little waste.

Someone set a record of eating 3 on the trot. When I left the cafe there was a young American on his 2nd, looking to do 4.

Slim chap was he...........?

Sheesh - even when starving I'd struggle with a fifth of that...

Edit..didn't see any mushrooms...hmmmmmmm

I have fond memories of a pub called Mad O'Rourkes Pie Factory in Tipton. It has a website so I presume it still exists but O haven't been over that way in a long time to check.

Anyway the point is that it is [or at least was] famous for it's 'Desperate Dan' cow pie:

DESPERATE DAN'S COW PIE The world famous MEAL IN A PIE. Steak, kidney, veg and potatoes casseroled together in a Lumphammer beer gravy and baked into a memorable 4lb. pie. Comes horns and all!

Lush, but hard work.

I think I may just be able to manage that breakfast (not that I normally eat fast, but I can), can you remain anonymous if you manage it or do they want to take publicity shots?
