Thanks to the cyclist yesterday who helped me out at the side of the road with their pump.
Needed to put some extra pressure in my back tyre and tightened the Lenyze Road Drive onto the presta valve, all was going well until I unscrewed it and out came the valve core.
Cleverly I had packed a spare tube, not cleverly the core was stuck in the pump hose and was not coming out, perfect tube, no pump and a 10 mile walk home.
Thankfully after about 30 mins a guy on a tour/MTB comes past with a suitable pump but I could only get 45psi in my tyre, a squishy ride home followed.
6 miles from home went past a house and borrowed a pair of pliers extracted valve core from pump and pumped enough pressure in to get some more speed up.
So thanks to all those who helped yesterday, valve core now locktighted into tube.
