Congrats!
Having just finished A-Levels, I would imagine they are probably my biggest achievement... for the time being at least.

Today I have come to a milestone I am twenty five years sober today. My life has changed immeasurably and the fact I'm still breathing is a bonus.

What's your biggest achievement to date?

I've known people with alcohol addiction so I know how tough is to kick the habit. 25 years is quite an achievement I'd say.

I think I have a few achievements that I'm very proud of but I think the one that tops the rest is staying married (35 years) and providing a "stable" home to bring up a family. Considering that we were only 19 when we got married. My wife stood by me through university and later on when I worked away from home for years and coming home only at weekends if I was lucky. We put our 3 kids through university and they never gave us a big problem. We have friends whose kids got into trouble with the police, drugs, etc at a very early age. So yes, that has to be my biggest achievement to date.

I saved a guy's life once after he'd fallen through a window and severed an artery in his arm. He stood up with blood spurting 6-8 feet and no-one else did anything so I applied direct pressure over the wound (pre AIDS so you can tell how long ago) with a thumb. The only time I've had to use my (work funded) first aid knowledge.

My biggest achievement is .....
