Well, BTFB should be well on his way now, but how far will he get on the first day of his epic tour of East Anglia ? ?

It's pretty breezy today, and I have a feeling he'll be riding into it, so I'm going to vote 25-40.
    Go BTFB GO!!!

If he's coming up from the south I'd guess 60 miles - could have freewheeled my downwind leg today and no rain.

Good luck to him whatever the distance - I actually find BFTB quite an inspirational character, what with his cycle-related triumph over various forms of adversity.

    Go Go BFTB!

Actually, quite agree with you Bren. It's starting to inspire me.
Now, do I throw my hybrid away and get a tourer or try it on the hybrid ??

Someone should have fitted him with a transponder like one those Canadian geese, or maybe a cyclechat "Ops room" with a uniformed lady with a stick pushing a tiny model BFTB around a table top map of East Anglia !

He is quite inspirational though and i find myself looking forward to reading his posts when he returns. When is that ??????
