Just an update on the Virb & longer duration timelapse. I tested it on the Blowingstone 107km ride last Sunday. Started off with an almost fullish 2000mAh battery and this lasted ~2hr10m (45km in) set to 1080p/0.5s/Wide. There's possibly a slight bug in the firmware as the battery indicator went from ~2/3 full directly to cut out... Anyway, I then switched to an Anker USB pack 5600mAh (tribag) for the remainder. The quality is good in 1080p/25fps. Here's an example in 720p (please select in YT settings) from first part of ride with reduced quality via 'Handbrake', to make the file size manageable. The whole compiled 24min mp4 timelapse in 1080p @ 25fps was ~6Gb.
