The Whyte R7s with rigid fork and single chainring are in the 11kg range depending on model

That’s the one I’m mainly looking at, and a local shop has some which was a fantastic call.

She was really tempted by the Marin DS2 and loved it on the test ride, it has suspension forks but they can. Be locked.

So did I lol but once she tried some different bikes the Marin was the preferred choice.

I will see how she finds the Whyte as well.
