Bad service for me but im glad now as its quite a boring looking bike

Maybe a gt traffic or charge tap and they both have 8 hub gears for 300 quid but they dont have mud guards or pannier rack which will be an extra cost ,the steamer had these already for 250 but i wouldnt of looked at it if i had to pay full whack for it at over 500 i was thinking about getting a bargain more than anything.

The tap I'm sure would be a quicker ride than the steamer that's for sure! In fact either of them would. I'd love to try an Alfine hub gear sometime.

I used to dream of having a bike with a three speed hub. Then I got one (brand new 1963 Moulton Standard) and it was everything I had always wanted. Over the years and bikes now come with 18 to 28 gear Shimano's but I noticed today that I am only using three of them. Maybe its just me.

Or is it where you live? I use a singlespeed folder when in Lincolnshire visiting family but it wont get me up the hills here at home.
