A burger can be a pretty well balanced and healthy meal... depending on a few things that probably don't make it a burger anymore, but that aside.

Suffice it to say a McD burger probably isn't such a creation.

Do they sell them at those McDonalds that don't serve cyclists?
I'm still bearing a grudge against them for refusing me entry to a 11pm close store at 10:15 and telling me to use the drive through... with the car I clearly didn't have.
"We're not closed, use the drive through"
"You can't use the drive through without a car"

In what way were they not closed to me then?

You'd have to be downright silly to eat a Big Mac, when you can get a McDouble with cheese and the secret sacred sauce (Thousand Island Dressing) for less than a Big Mac. Much less. Besides, I can't go to the drive-through window on my bicycle. So I go to Sonic.

Bikes appear to be generally unwelcome at UK drive-throughs, although I've not seen a written policy from McDonald's.

It's no hardship if the restaurant part is open, there's usually an outside seating area with plenty of places to lock a bike.

Agreed.

A McD is not so bad if you don't have chips.

I'm reluctant to knock them.

Several branches I visit regularly let me use the wi-fi for work, and there's no pressure to buy anything although I usually have a coffee.

I admit to using mc Donalds if no where is available, Sunday morning hangover milkshakes are nice.
I don't think I could eat one of their burgers mid ride though xx(
